ÁCIDOS: OXIÁCIDOS.
Son compuestos ternarios formados por un no metal, oxígeno e hidrógeno. Se obtienen a partir del óxido ácido o anhídrido correspondiente sumándole una molécula de agua (H2O).
Su fórmula general es:
H2O + N2Ox = HaNbOc
Donde H es el hidrógeno, N el no metal y O el oxígeno.
Ejemplos
:F2O + H2O = H2F2O2 = HFO
SO3 + H2O = H2SO4
CrO3 + H2O = H2CrO4
HFO Ácido hipofluoroso
H2SO2 Ácido hiposulfuroso
HClO2 Ácido cloroso
H2SO3 Ácido sulfuroso
HClO3 Ácido clórico
H2SO4 Ácido sulfúrico
HClO4 Ácido perclorico
Para nombrarlos se utiliza más común la nomenclatura tradicional, para la cual se utiliza la tabla que relaciona la valencia con el el no metal en el caso de los oxiácidos y su terminación correspondiente y a manera de recordatorio

5y 6 ___ico
7 per____ico
Ejemplos:
H3PO4 äcido fosfórico,
para el caso anterior,
la valencia del hidrógeno es +1
la valencia del fosforo es +5
la valencia del oxígeno es -2
El chiste chavos es calcular una suma algebraica para calcular la valencia del no metal
3(+1) + valencia del no metal (?) + 4(-2) = 0
+3 + valencia del no metal (?) + -8= 0
(?)= +5 por lo tanto, en base a la tabla, le corresponde al nombre del ácido la terminación ICO.
